Monday afternoon we’ll celebrate the birthday of Alma Mahler Gropius Werfel–the highly intelligent and gifted wife of Gustav Mahler, who later married architect Walter Gropius and yet later, writer Franz Werfel, described by one friend as a “catalyst of unbelievable intensity." We’ll hear music both inspired and written by this great femme fatale of the arts on this afternoon's Classical Music With Foley Schuler.
You can hear Foley Schuler's musical selections—and stories behind the music—every weekday afternoon on Blue Lake Public Radio.
