Dr. R Jimenez visits Blue Lake Public Radio

The Blue Lake Festival Orchestra gives the final concert of Session II in our 60th anniversary season on July 18, and Dr. Raphael Jimenez will conduct Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, along with the Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni, and of course, the camp theme, Canterbury Lane. Dr. Jimenez came by the station to talk about the concert and you can hear it here!
Steve Albert
Steve came to Blue Lake as an announcer in 1985 and has worn many hats over the years. Currently the Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for the technical operations of Blue Lake Public Radio. His on-air work includes hosting “A Michigan Saturday Night” from 8:00-9:00pm, and classical music when called on. Steve oversees Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp’s summer recordings and broadcasts. In his private time, Steve loves all types of music, and plays banjo in a couple of local bluegrass groups.
