Violinist Luis Fernandez is back with us at Blue Lake this summer, and he is heard in a recital with piano accompaniment by Dr. Wan-Chin Chang on July 15 at 7:30. He stopped by the radio studios to talk about his concert, and life at Blue Lake.
Steve Albert
Steve came to Blue Lake as an announcer in 1985 and has worn many hats over the years. Currently the Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for the technical operations of Blue Lake Public Radio. His on-air work includes hosting “A Michigan Saturday Night” from 8:00-9:00pm, and classical music when called on. Steve oversees Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp’s summer recordings and broadcasts. In his private time, Steve loves all types of music, and plays banjo in a couple of local bluegrass groups.
