Concíerto has been a part of our Sunday line-up for several years now. The weekly program of classical music presented in Spanish and in English features music by Latin American and Spanish composers and musicians. It's the music we love (recent programs have included Claudio Arrau playing Beethoven and Beverly Sills performing music by Enrique Granados) presented in a way that includes our neighbors who speak Spanish.
Host Frank Dominguez is the General Manager of WDAV in Davidson, North Carolina. Prior to coming to WDAV, Frank began his radio career at 90.7 WFAE, where he hosted a popular Sunday evening music program. He holds a BFA in Theater from Adelphi University as well as MA and MFA degrees from the University of New Orleans. Frank and his wife, Liz, live in Charlotte. Happily, most of Frank’s interests are a part of what he does for a living. A few that he can’t pursue while on the job are reading mysteries and spy novels, movies, and other types of music.
