The West Michigan Symphony performs their Masterworks concert “Superheroes at the Symphony” this Friday evening at 7:30 in the majestic Frauenthal Center. Scott Speck leads the program inspired by cinematic superheroes, which includes works by Danny Elfman and John Williams written for the movies, as well as two pieces that inspired the composers – Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suite, and Stravinsky’s suite from The Firebird.
More information is on their website, and we invite you to listen to the conversation Scott Speck had with Steve Albert about the concert.
