Dr. Cho gives us a preview of the new season

The fifth season of the Grand Valley Piano Chamber Series begins this weekend, and the theme for the year is "Finding America" with performances in Fremont, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, and at GVSU. The Artistic Director of the series (and a member of the Blue Lake Piano Faculty), Dr, Sookkyung Cho came to Blue Lake and talked with Steve about the new series.

Steve came to Blue Lake as an announcer in 1985 and has worn many hats over the years. Currently the Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for the technical operations of Blue Lake Public Radio. His on-air work includes hosting “A Michigan Saturday Night” from 8:00-9:00pm, and classical music when called on. Steve oversees Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp’s summer recordings and broadcasts. In his private time, Steve loves all types of music, and plays banjo in a couple of local bluegrass groups.
