In the first twenty minutes of each hour Jazz From Blue Lake focuses on a particular artist or recording in a segment called "The Jazz Retrospective."
In September we'll bring a focus on jazz drummers, including a birthday celebration of the great Elvin Jones, highlight the birthday of jazz saxophonist John Coltrane by featuring not only his recordings but those of his wife Alice and son Ravi, plus a birthday celebration of living jazz giant Sonny Rollins.
