Violinist Tessa Lark is in downtown Muskegon to perform the "Sky" Concerto written for her by Michael Torke with the West Michigan Symphony on Friday May 30. And she gives a solo recital in The Block on Saturday the 31st. Tessa and Scott stopped by the station to talk about these programs, and Tessa gave a sample of her fiddle expertise with a fantasy she composed.

Steve came to Blue Lake as an announcer in 1985 and has worn many hats over the years. Currently the Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for the technical operations of Blue Lake Public Radio. His on-air work includes hosting “A Michigan Saturday Night” from 8:00-9:00pm, and classical music when called on. Steve oversees Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp’s summer recordings and broadcasts. In his private time, Steve loves all types of music, and plays banjo in a couple of local bluegrass groups.
